We often say “in Jesus’ name” in prayer, and it can be helpful to pause and gently reflect on what that truly means for our lives. When we begin to understand His sacrifice more deeply, it can naturally lead us to live with gratitude and share that hope with others in a simple, sincere way. Join me in this prayer.

Dear God,

Thank you for the gift of salvation you’ve provided through Jesus alone. Today, I ask that you help me understand the depths of Jesus’s sacrifice, to truly comprehend what he gave up for me, and let me live worthy of this exclusive salvation. I am grateful that you took the initiative to provide the only way to freedom, knowing that there is no other name under heaven by which I can be saved.

Thank you for showing me that He is the way towards salvation, and help me share this hope with others not from judgment, but from the overflow of gratitude for what you’ve freely given me.
