She’s already proud of you for not giving up.
You: I don’t know if I can keep doing this.
Future you: I know. I remember.
You’re going to be more than okay.
– Jacqueline Whitney
You: It feels like nothing is changing.
Future you: I promise you, things are changing. You just can’t feel it from where you’re standing.
You: Will I be okay?
Future you: You’re going to be more than okay. You’re going to look back at this exact moment and barely recognize the version of you who was so afraid. Not because she was weak — but because she had no idea how much was about to shift.
You: Tell me something. Anything.
Future you: The thing you’re scared to let go of? You finally do. And it’s the best thing you’ve ever done. The person you’ve been waiting on? You stop waiting. The dream you stopped believing in? It comes back, but in a form you didn’t expect — and it ends up being better than what you originally asked for.
You: What do I do until I get to you?
Future you: Stop bracing. Stop trying to control how it unfolds. Let yourself be soft. Let yourself rest. Let yourself trust that I’m already here, waiting for you, on the other side of all of this. You’re closer than you think.

You: I don’t want to mess it up.
Future you: You won’t. Even the parts that feel like mistakes are getting you to me. Just keep going. I’m so proud of you for not giving up.
