This is a prayer for the ones who are tired of waiting but still choosing to trust. The ones who are holding on with both hands even when their faith feels thin and their prayers feel unanswered. If you have ever sat in a season that felt too long and too quiet, and still found yourself turning back to God anyway — this prayer was written for you.
“God,
I know your timing is good, but some days the waiting feels heavier than my faith. I keep wondering when things will change, when the door will open, when the prayer I’ve carried for so long will finally make sense.
Remind me that delay is not the same as abandonment.
– Jacqueline Whitney
And if I’m honest, I’m tired.
Tired of trying to stay hopeful when nothing seems to move. Tired of wondering if I’m doing something wrong. Tired of carrying the tension between trusting you and wanting answers now.
But even here, I want to keep trusting you. If this season is preparing me, strengthen me through it. If something is being aligned behind the scenes, help me not to rush ahead of you. And if the waiting itself is shaping something important within me, don’t let me leave this season unchanged.

Remind me that delay is not the same as abandonment. Help me believe that what you have for me is still unfolding, even when I cannot yet see it.
Amen.”
