Not everyone you remember is someone you’re meant to return to. Sometimes God allows a memory to reveal what still needs healing, not who still belongs in your future.
Just because someone still crosses your mind doesn’t mean they’re still part of my plan for your life.
Sometimes because there are parts of you that are still healing
Jacqueline Whitney
Your heart remembers people for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes because they mattered. Sometimes because they wounded you.
Sometimes because there are parts of you that are still healing. But don’t confuse a memory with a message from me.
If I want you to move toward someone, I won’t lead you through confusion, obsession, or the fear that you’ll miss your chance. My voice brings peace, even when it’s asking you to let go.

The person you can’t stop thinking about may have been part of your story. But don’t become so consumed by who once walked beside you that you miss the people, the purpose, and the life I’m placing in front of you now.
