God Was There In Every Chapter You Thought You Faced Alone

Maybe you didn’t survive those chapters alone. Maybe God was there in a hundred small ways you couldn’t recognize while you were simply trying to make it through.

New Voicemail from God — 4:38 AM

I want to talk to you about the seasons you don’t remember me being in.

I know some of your hardest chapters felt like I was far away. Like the room was empty. Like the prayers you were sending were disappearing into a void that wasn’t listening. You’ve been carrying the belief that in some of your darkest moments, you were on your own.

You didn’t get through those seasons alone

Jacqueline Whitney

I want to gently remind you that / was there.

I was there in the season that almost broke you. In the night you cried on the bathroom floor. In the version of your life that felt so heavy you didn’t know how you were going to get through it. In the years you look back on and can barely remember because you were just surviving.

I was in every single one of those moments. Not always loud. Not always visible. But present. Holding you. Sending small comforts you were too tired to notice.

You didn’t get through those seasons alone. Please rewrite the story in your head. I was there for every one of them. I’ve never once left you.

Not even in the chapters you think I did.
