You may still be measuring what you deserve by your mistakes, your past, or how perfectly you’ve held everything together. God isn’t. His goodness has never been something you had to become flawless enough to receive.
You: I deserve what I’ve earned.
God: You deserve what I’ve already decided to give you.
You: I deserve to be treated the way I’ve been treated.
God: You deserve to be treated the way I love you. Which is fully.
I don’t hand out my love based on your worst days
Jacqueline Whitney
You: I deserve love once I’ve fixed everything about myself.
God: You deserve love right now. As is.
You: I deserve less because of what I’ve done.
God: You deserve everything I have for you. I don’t hand out my love based on your worst days.
You: I deserve to be alone because I keep getting it wrong.

God: You deserve to be surrounded by people who choose you well. And they’re coming.
You: I deserve to keep waiting because I’m not ready.
God: You deserve what I’ve prepared for you. And you’re more ready than you think.
