God, Help Me Trust The Story You’ve Written For My Life

Fear tells you that one mistake can undo your future. God reminds you that his plans have always been bigger than your fear, your delays, and your imperfections.

You: I’m scared I’m going to lose my chance.

God: You can’t lose what was written for you.

You cannot make me stop being faithful to what I said

Jacqueline Whitney

You: How do you know?

God: Because I’m the one who wrote it. What I’ve assigned to your life isn’t something you can accidentally miss by taking the wrong turn, healing too slowly, or getting there later than you planned.

You: But what if I mess it up?

God: You can delay a season. You can make things harder on yourself. But you cannot make me stop being faithful to what I said. What’s written for you was written with your entire story in mind, including the parts you haven’t lived yet.

You: So I don’t have to be perfect to receive it?

God: You just have to keep walking. I’ll make sure the story finds its way to the ending I already wrote. You’re not in danger of losing this. You never were.
