Healing isn’t forgetting what happened. It’s deciding that your past no longer gets to define what God is writing next. There comes a time when faith looks like closing the chapter and trusting Him with the pages that are still to come.
God wants you to hear this today –
You can let the past be finished.
There comes a moment when healing is no longer about understanding everything that happened
Jacqueline Whitney
Some of you are still living as though the hardest chapter of your life gets the final word. Every new opportunity, every new relationship, every new beginning has to pass through the memory of what once hurt you. Without realizing it, you’ve been asking your past to tell you what your future is allowed to become.
But I never intended for yesterday to have that kind of authority.

The purpose of your past was never to become the place you built your life. It was to become part of your wisdom, not your identity. There comes a moment when healing is no longer about understanding everything that happened. It’s about believing that what happened no longer gets to decide what happens next.
You don’t have to keep reopening a chapter I’ve already given you permission to close.
