God Says Stop Looking For Healing In The Place That Broke You

You keep going back. Not because it was good for you, but because it feels familiar — and part of you still hopes that this time will be different.

It won’t be. And deep down, you already know that.

Healing doesn’t come from going back. It comes from going inward, it comes from faith.

Stop trying to heal in the places that broke you.

I see you keep going back to them. To the conversations that hurt you. To the relationships that drained you. To the environments that required you to abandon yourself. Hoping that this time, somehow, you’ll get the closure, the validation, the love you’ve been needing.

You won’t find healing there.

The people who hurt you can’t heal you. The environments that broke you can’t restore you. The relationships that taught you to shrink can’t be where you learn to take up space.

Healing doesn’t come from going back. It comes from going inward, it comes from faith.

I know it feels familiar to return. I know it feels like maybe you missed something. Maybe if you try one more time, say it one more way, give one more chance, you’ll finally get what you needed. But you won’t. Because what you needed was never there to begin with.

The healing is in a new place. Not the one that broke you.

Trust me on this. I promise it will make sense one day.
