God’s Recipe For Becoming Who You’re Meant To Be

Becoming who you’re meant to be isn’t a clean process. It’s layered. It takes time. It asks more of you than you expected. There are parts of it that feel slow, even unnecessary — the waiting, the setbacks, the moments where nothing seems to be coming together the way you thought it would.

The love you gave yourself when no one else did

– Jacqueline Whitney

But nothing in your life is being wasted. It’s all being used to build something that can actually hold the life you’re growing into. And the version of you that comes out of it won’t just have what you prayed for — it will be ready for it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of seasons that didn’t go your way
  • 2 tablespoons of patience while waiting
  • A handful of boundaries you finally set
  • A generous portion of self-trust
  • Equal parts surrender and faith
  • A pinch of hope (it’s stronger than it seems)
  • Time (more than you wanted to give)
  • The lessons you didn’t ask for
  • The grief that taught you what mattered
  • The love you gave yourself when no one else did

Directions: Combine the heartbreak with the healing. Let it sit longer than you think necessary. Add the wisdom from what didn’t work. Stir in the version of yourself you’ve been becoming in the quiet. Fold in the moments that almost broke you but didn’t.

Don’t rush this. The recipe doesn’t work if you skip the waiting. Don’t compare your progress to anyone else’s. The timing is part of the formula.

Note from the chef: Some recipes take longer than others. The most important ones can’t be rushed. Trust the process.
