Rest tonight knowing you never had to earn God’s love in the first place.
God: One more thing before you sleep.
You: What is it, God?
God: I’m proud of you.
You: For what? I didn’t accomplish anything today.
Stop measuring your worth by productivity
– Jacqueline Whitney
God: I’m not proud of what you accomplished. I’m proud of who you are. Who you’re becoming. The heart you have even when it’s broken.
You: I don’t feel like I did anything worth being proud of.
God: You showed up. You tried. You didn’t quit. That’s worth being proud of. Stop measuring your worth by productivity. I know I’m not.

You: Okay, God. Thank you for seeing me so clearly. I trust you, and love you.
God: Now sleep. Tomorrow’s a new day. But tonight, just rest knowing: I’m proud of you. Not for what you did. For who you are. That’s enough.
