You may not recognize preparation while you’re living through it. It can look like losing what was familiar, waiting longer than you wanted, or becoming someone you never would have chosen to become on your own. Keep trusting God with what this season is making possible in you.
The Breaking. Before the blessing comes the breaking. Not to destroy you, but to draw you closer. You hit rock bottom, you cry, you question why it hurts so much. But the breaking isn’t rejection, it’s redirection. It’s God making room for what’s coming.
You’re being refined for something greater than you prayed for

The Refining. Before the blessing can remain, your heart must be shaped to carry it. This is where you face the waiting, the surrender, the humbling. It’s not punishment, it’s purification. The fire doesn’t destroy the gold, it reveals its purity. You’re being refined for something greater than you prayed for.

The Revealing. After the breaking and refining comes the revealing. What was hidden begins to bloom. Tears turn into testimony. Delay turns into development. You look back not with bitterness, but with gratitude — because God used the valley to prepare you for the mountain.
Keep trusting through the breaking.
Keep praising through the refining.
You’re stepping into the revealing.
