The love already on its way is worth every almost.
God: I want to tell you about the love that’s already on its way.
You: I’ve stopped expecting it.
Every season of waiting. It’s coming. And it’s going to be beautiful.

God: I know. That’s why I’m telling you. You’ve gotten so used to disappointment that you stopped letting yourself imagine it. You stopped praying about it. You convinced yourself it might not happen for you.
You: Is that why it’s taking so long?
God: It’s taking this long because they’re being prepared, the same way you are. The love I have for you isn’t something I’m rushing. I’m refining both of you. Healing both of you. Aligning both of your timelines so that when you finally meet, you’ll be ready to actually receive it.
You: What if I miss it when it comes?
God: You won’t. The love I’m bringing isn’t going to require you to translate it. It won’t keep you guessing. It won’t make you feel anxious or unsure. It’s going to feel like an exhale. Like recognition. Like coming home to someone you didn’t know you were waiting for.

You: I’m scared to hope.
God: I know. So just trust. You don’t have to hope yet if you can’t. Just trust that I’m bringing it. The love that’s already on its way is worth every almost. Every closed door. Every season of waiting. It’s coming. And it’s going to be beautiful.
